  1. Autosave everywhere

    Ticket notes & draft emails, etc. should autosave to the tickets in case of a browser refresh or crash. If you had started writing notes and then refresh the ticket page then you should have a button or option to reload what you had last typed in there instead of needing to start over. I'm a new Halo user coming over from Syncro and this is the most basic feature that Syncro has and Halo is missing. I've lost a few draft ticket notes already but I'm sure many of you have lost many more. Ideally this would work in forms outside of the service desk as well, in the knowledge base, in the self-service portals, etc. All of those rich text and really any field should be autosaving while you type so if you refresh then you can click a button to get back what you had.

  2. Pressing "esc" shouldn't close the entire series of windows

    When entering data on some screens, you press the Escape key to efforts to close the pop up / overlay window but instead it closes out the entire series and takes you back to the parent screen.

  3. Disable "ESC" Key Usage of Exiting Current Context

    The "ESC" key will force close a current task at the worst times occasionally. When write a new ticket and when KB or canned text is suggested "ESC" key will close the entire action or ticket being worked. Add an option to disable the key activity or changing its functionality would be helpful for user experience.

  4. Ubiquiti Unifi Controller integration

    we use the Unifi Hardware stack for most of our networking as the controller for this is free and doesnt require a subscription. this controller uses standard Rest api to collect information. (www.ui.com) I have currently created a powershell based integration that collects all sites and hardware from the unifi controller and updates them via api in Halo. However, due to api throtteling this process is quite prone to error. It would be realy nice to have this as a proper integration.   5. Ninja Integration Update

    Would like the ability to map asset types in Ninja to asset types in Halo. For example, in Halo all our current assets and items are filtered where asset type is called workstation or server. However, Ninja brings servers across as Windows_Server. This means we have to go and update all our reports as well as all our items where the quanity is mapped to device name is server.

    Could you please build a Microsoft Copilot Connector that allows interaction with all the data in Halo?

  7. Set Active/Inactive for PDF Templates

    We currently have to prefix (Do not use) or something similar on invoice templates and others that were at one point used because it will not allow us to delete. This is not good functionality and templates should have an ISACTIVE boolean that can be toggled like within other areas of Halo.

  10. Integration with Cove Data backup from N-able

    Halo has a few N-able integrations but is missing a key offering, Cove Data Protection Cove is an amazing cloud based backup product, It would be amazing to have a link for simple things like subscription tracking to link to recurring invoice items. Primarily 365 backup items but all would be beneficial

  11. Group recuring invoices

    We’ve built automation with multiple platforms to generate and update recurring invoicesβ€”each integration creates its own invoice (e.g., one for our phone system, one for antivirus, one for backups, etc.). Some clients prefer receiving a single consolidated invoice, which is easy to manage. However, others request grouped invoices based on specific criteriaβ€”such as Phone and internet together, User licenses grouped, One invoice per site, etc Currently, to meet these preferences, we manually select the relevant invoices each month from the β€œReady for Invoicing” list. This manual process is time-consuming and prone to error. It would be extremely helpful to have a feature that allows us to create and manage invoice groups, so this process can be automated. Ideally, we could define grouping rules (e.g., by product type, site, or service category), and the system would automatically generate the correct grouped invoices. At the moment, the only workaround is to sync all relevant items into a single recurring invoice. However, this isn’t feasible with our current integrations, as each product creates its own recurring invoice independently. Adding invoice grouping functionality would significantly improve efficiency and accuracy, especially for clients with complex billing preferences.

  12. Dicker Data catalogue sync

    It will be great to be able to sync the Dicker Data catlogue in HaloPSA, so we can see stock, price, description etc.

  14. Desktop Tray Icon for the Halo application

    We currently have the chat facility accessible via the Self Service portal however most of our clients do not use this as they find it easier to contact us via email. It would be a game changer if Halo could have a desktop feature where a 'Tray Icon' can be placed on the users Task bar and when expanded, quick access to a few frequent options could be accessible. For example: 'Log a ticket', 'View my tickets', Chat to an Agent', Knowledge Articles' etc. With end user experience in mind, it would be great for users to engage directly with our team rather than the tradtional email process. This would boost turnaround times as well as customer satisfaction. Attached is an example of another MSP software platform where there desktop tray icon is available.

  15. Further Portal Customizations

    I would like to change the favicon that is shown on the customer portal – right now it’s the red haloPSA favicon which doesn’t match our color scheme at all. Replacing it with our own custom icon preferred, alternatively the ability to set a HEX color code for the existing icon would be a 2nd option Also when going to our portal the loading circle is blue at first, and then changes to our green, is there any way to fix that? Right now the favicon is red, the initial loading circle is blue, and then finally things change to green, which is a pretty bad mis-match of colors Additionally, it would be great to have the option to repeat a background image vertically, right now we had to make a fairly large image in height to have it work on every possible screen/mobile device, but the caveat is that the background image takes a second or two to load in. If we could just have it repeating on the Y axis that would solve the problem, but I was told that it's not possible, even by custom CSS at this time.
